IEC TELECOM GROUP WIDENS ITS NETWORK

IEC Telecom Group, the leading satellite based telecommunications service provider, has undertaken a new step in the development of its international network.

IEC Telecom Group and the Norwegian company TRADEE AS have decided to join forces to boost their penetration of the Scandinavian market.
Indeed, this is a very exciting new step in the long established group’s strategy that aims at getting closer to end users in order to provide them with the best possible support and after sale services.

The alliance between IEC Telecom Group (based in Paris, Dubai, Bristol, Abu Dhabi, Singapore and Pointe-Noire) and Tradee AS head quartered in Oslo brings together valuable and complementary capabilities immediately providing benefits to both organizations. The product lines range and the commercial strategy being the same, the integration is expected to be finalized very rapidly.

Tradee AS will immediately benefit from the IEC Telecom Group expertise and facilities, purchasing conditions and global services such as billing organization, marketing and innovative solutions development departments.  Tradee AS naturally will have access to the image compression techniques developed by the group’s specialized company, Quicklink and to the Traksat Fleet tracking and M2M services as well as to the Horizon VOIP and bandwidth optimization system.

Tradee AS’s MSS volumes that will be consolidated to the group’s purchases will strengthen even more its negotiation capacity, while the economies of scale that will result from this association are expected to benefit to the whole group performances.
